Whiskey in a Detective Office

This was for a school assignment for a low key shoot. I wanted to recreate the vibe of an old detective's office, with a dark and musky atmosphere, case papers scattered on the table, light streaming in through blinds, and a glass of whiskey to keep the detective company. Everything was shot in a lighting studio.

The series tells the story of a night in the office, starting with being lit with daylight from a setting sun, moving to artificial light from a desk lamp and computer screen, and lastly once again through the windows as the sun rises again.
